Less than one week until sweet freedom from projects and papers - I can't wait.
In other news, Mochi got sick again. Poor puppy. Seriously, nothing more heartbreaking than a little sad, ill puppy. I believe he's on the up-and-up and has made his way into the hearts of all of the techs and vets at TenderTouch Animal Hospital. For all he's been through this past year, they can't believe he still loves coming to see them - it's one of his favorite places?!? My other dog, Shyloh, wouldn't step foot into a vets office or groomer without much coaxing or picking him up and taking him in.
Over memorial day, Kalin and I went up with my parents to Grand Lake for a nice long weekend to celebrate Kalin's birthday and just get away for a little bit. I brought my sewing machine and went to work on a quilt for baby Brett, who was just born two days ago! I've made this quilt twice before, but for girls. I'm in love with the cute animal print.
Kara!! I love popping onto your blog to what you have been up to :). The baby quilt is darling...did you quilt it on the machine or by hand? I will be at Twain Harte cabin next week and will think of you as I look thru all those stacks of wonderful fabric!!! Love you...hug KAlin for me...julie
ReplyDeleteYour quilt turned out adorable! I have seen some darling animal fabric at Pacific Fabric lately and always want to come up with a way to use it! :)
